I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Dayton. I was previously a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Arkansas.
My research centers on emotion and emotional expression. I am interested in evolutionary theories of emotion and the role that body language plays in communication, especially in contexts of moral damage and moral repair.
I completed my Ph.D. at Georgetown University, my M.A. at Georgia State University, and my B.A. at American University.
